SEO Design Chicago has an immediate need for a Social Media Specialist to join their team. This person will ideally have a strong creative mind and excellent communication skills.This person will work directly with clients and colleagues to help bring creative ideas to life.  We offer a fun and flexible work environment.

The Social Media Specialist in this position needs to be able to work with many different kinds of people and be able to adapt to a lot of different situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES/EXPERIENCE:  

• Create and Build Paid Social Media Advertising Campaigns on LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter
• Creative effective copy that will influence user reactions
• Manage health of multiple different social media campaigns simultaneously
• Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with clients’ business goals
• Create and schedule engaging content across multiple platforms
• Track social media KPIs and prepare performance reports
• Stay current with digital marketing trends and platform algorithm changes
• Collaborate with SEO and content teams to ensure message consistency

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Bachelor’s degree 1+ years’ experience working in Social Media and Digital Advertising
• Experience using Facebook Ads Manager, Power Editor & Business Manager
• Experience using Twitter Paid advertising
• Experience using LinkedIn Paid Advertising

REQUIRED SKILLS

* Proficiency in social media analytics tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)
* Experience with content management systems
* Understanding of SEO principles and how they apply to social media
* Excellent copywriting and editing abilities
* Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
* Knowledge of current social media trends and best practices
