SEO Design Chicago has worked with hundreds of clients all across the country.  Are you ready to start seeing results?

Once I start SEO, how long will it take to get rankings?

SEO is about following a specific process and constantly updating your progress.  Localized terms with less competition can usually be accomplished in a few months.

More competitive niches and keywords take about 4-6 months on average in most cases to see results.

For more competitive keywords and topics, it can easily take over a year and require a larger more robust content and SEO plan.

The cornerstone of our approach is to write great original content as the starting point.

Search engine optimization costs depending on activities performed.  All of our packages include onsite SEO improvements and content creation as a part of the process.  Google always states that if you create excellent content, people will share it and link to it.

Google will not penalize you for SEO as long as you follow their code of conduct The goal of Google is to serve the best possible search results for their users.  Most sites play within the rules and we encourage all of our clients to follow the rules to the letter. In the event that you had worked with a former SEO that used black hat or negative SEO in Google’s eyes. there are ways to remedy this before or after a penalty using Google’s disavow tool.

You can never guarantee rankings.  We can provide expectations based on history and benchmarks.  The most important thing that you can do is to create good content always!

SEO is an ongoing process that should be continually worked on.  Any great marketing team should have an SEO component to their strategy for long term success.

With the competition in the world today there are all types of negative SEO activities being performed to hurt competitors’ websites. We have personally experienced third parties participating in these activities that impacted our clients’ websites and even our website. Negative SEO is not a specific criminal offense as such. However, it is possible that, in the future, the police may attempt to prosecute negative SEO under section 3 of the Computer Misuse Act 1990. Some of the most common negative SEO attacks include:

  • Building hundreds or thousands of spammy links to your website
  • Copying your content and distributing it all over the internet
  • Pointing links to your website using keywords like Viagra, poker online, and many others
  • Creating fake social profiles and ruining your reputation online
  • Multiple unnatural. anchors produced pointing to your pages
  • Removing the best backlinks your website has
  • Hacking of your website
